Points will be based on finish position within class racing. </span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">Riders obtain points inversely proportional to the starting field size, plus bonuses for first, second and third place (6, 3, and 1 point respectively).</span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">For example, if the starting field were 8, points would be as follows:</span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000;">1st: 8+6 = 14 points</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000;">2nd: 7+3 = 10 points</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000;">3rd: 6+1 = 7 points</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000;">4th: 5 points</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000;">5th: 4 points</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000;">6th: 3 points</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000;">7th: 2 points</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000;">8th: 1 point</span></li></ul><p><span style="color:#000000;">The team competition will be based on the 2 best-placed finishers on a team in each category. Riders and teams should take care that riders register for each race under the team’s name and that the team gets credit in the standings for all of its scoring Junior riders.</span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">If a rider changes club/team mid-season, the rider’s points earned with his or her old club/team remain with the old club/team.
